Currently February

I found out this week that I am going to be going to a Fleetwood Mac concert on Valentine's Day! I AM SO EXCITED! If you know anything about me, you know that I am a music junkie- especially classic rock and Fleetwood Mac will always hold a special place in my <3. Also, the tickets are on the floor which is going to make this experience EVEN better! I can't wait!!

Here's a picture of the hubby and I going out in the blizzard on Sunday! IT WAS so scary! But, he's the best driver- and we have a Jeep which makes matters better...not PERFECT but better. I want everyone to know that just because we have a Jeep doesn't make us invincible! It's still very terrifying for me to travel in the snow.
I'm definitely the Queen of Comfort because as soon as I get home from teaching, before I do ANYTHING, I change into yoga pants and big hooded sweatshirts. My hubby says that I am a "yoga pants ninja". I take pride in that! Also, I am all about massages, facials, long baths, fluffy pillows, etc. Basically anything that is comfy you can find me taking part in it!

Have a wonderful rest of your week!

New Products & FREEBIE!

I've been working hard on some fun products that will hopefully be helpful for you all! I want to encourage all of you to take some time in February and talk to your kiddos about dental health. As a mommy and a teacher I can't stress the value of healthy teeth enough. In my teaching days, I've seen so many kiddos with cavities and dental health problems and it scares me to think about the days to come for some of them! I'd like to think the unit I've come up with will save some of your students sweet little little teeth! I can't wait to teach this unit to my kiddos. I think they will love it! I am going to add it in at the end of the day 2-3x a week in February. Each lesson should only take about 10-15 minutes.

Also, I've started to playing around with creating my own clipart. The clipart that I've come up with isn't that "great"...but it's cute and it's mine so I am proud. I've made it a *FREEBIE* just in time for Valentine's Day for all of my sweet TpT followers and fellow teachers. I am using it to make cute coupons for my kiddos. I hope you enjoy it!

Workin' Hard! & GiVEAWAY TiME!!

So, I've been a little bit out of the loop on my blog this school year, but that doesn't mean I haven't been working very hard making new and exciting projects for teachers and students! I've also spent some time helping colleagues learn the basics on how to earn some extra money on TpT! It's exciting for me to see some of my coworkers blossom into TpT sellers!

My latest project has me all excited! I'm almost done working on it and I'll be posting it to my store later this evening...

I've also been thinking about how to get more of a following on here... And I think offering some freebies might be a way to get some more followers! So, my next 10 followers will get to choose any product 5.00 and under from my store for *FREE*!! I will need you to also recommend or make a post about my blog and store on your blog to make it official! I'm really excited about this! So good luck and when you become a follower please leave a comment with  product you would like! Thanks!!

Back to School..Back to School....

So, I am always trying NEW and fun things to get hyped up about my classroom and teaching. So I decided to completely redecorate my classroom. I went to a fun little cupcake place this summer with my husband and when we walked in it was decorated with chevron, teals, polkadots, ribbons, pinks, black & whites, & CUPCAKES! It was simply adorable and I FELL IN LOVE and I knew right then and there I needed to do something like this in my classroom. For the next 3 weeks, I became obsessed with making and finding things that would fit my motif. I painted, glued, created, and purchased until I was satisfied. (Honestly, I think this may be a work in progress because I am literally dreaming at night about what else I could be making or buying...it's a sickness ;)!!) I am ever so grateful for a husband who has put up with these shenanigans for the last few weeks. He's been great and so patient. I can't wait to show you all the finished product. I am going in later today to continue the madness that is my classroom. For now though, I wanted you to know that you too can have a classroom theme like mine! I am selling some of the products I made for my room in my store. I am also throwing a 20% off sale August 4th-6th!

Happy Back to School!!!

So many new changes!

I wanted to begin by apologizing for being MIA for awhile. A lot has happened this school year in my personal life and I'd decided to take a break from the blogging world.

To fill you all in, I got married  to the man of my dreams, Anthony. He is an answer to prayer and my life has been nothing but extraordinary! I am so proud to be married to such a wonderful man. He has the most tender heart and loving personality. He loves my son Jonah as his own and would do anything for our little family. Along with Anthony comes Dominic his 5 year old son. I just adore these boys very much and couldn't be happier.

I LOVE my Class!

I needed to take a minute to do a little bragging :)! I absolutely adore my kiddos this year. I've been very spoiled for the past two years with my classes. I have such a great group of kiddos and I've loved every moment of teaching them. They are just the sweetest little gems!! If you didn't know, I am a huge fan of Hello Kitty! I've loved Hello Kitty for more than ten years and I adore the fact that I am a teacher and can still love Hello Kitty and it's considered, "okay" and not "weird". Anyways, my kiddos always love the fact that Hello Kitty is my favorite and they usually spoil me with fun stuff! It's great! Well, today I received the BEST Hello Kitty gift, EVER from one of my girls.
A hand-knit Hello Kitty bracelet! YES, PLEASE : )! I am a huge fan of bracelets, too!
I am trying this new thing called, "getting organized". So I made some cutesy labels and I am starting to label and organize everything!! If you are interested in my adorable and useful labels, Click Here! They sure seem to be helping me out so far! I hope you are having an enjoyable week and don't forget to smile (tomorrow's Friday!!!)

Toodles!!!

A Lovely First Week in Second!

It was a great first full week in our class! I loved diving into the curriculum and really getting things started. Here's a dorky selfie of me in my classroom- and a little sneak peak into my room:)! I am planning on posting a classroom tour next week! Underneath you'll see the new sign I made for our classroom door which I am in love with! It's super sparkly and cute! Below is the bulletin board I made. It says, "What I like about my classroom is whom I share it with". I think it needs bigger letters but overall I'm pleased with the faces my kiddos made! They are adorable! I hope everyone had a great week, I ended up getting sick and had to leave work early Friday because of a fever and a head cold.... Yuck! Well, back to resting up....
